The Wyrmfire Concept to Curtain Approach

  • Square one is our favorite place to start. We love to get to know the artist and their vision for not only what they want their show to look like, but how they want their audience to feel. We believe that concerts and events shouldn’t merely be an event to attend, but an experience to be had, and that all starts with dreaming up a vision together.

  • Now comes the fun part, taking things from dreams to reality. Our Designer will start by building out a set, selecting fixtures, and programming a show that will all work together to build the experience your audience deserves.

  • It’s showtime! For all those last minute in room adjustments, we are committed to being either in the room or on call to help finalize the final look and verify that the entire event feels professional, cohesive, and jaw dropping. Our goal is for every audience member to whip their phone out to capture the amazing spectacle in front of them, and then want to put it away right after to soak it all in.

Meet the Team

Wyrmfire productions is proud to be a husband and wife owned production company. With a combined 15+ years of professional production and entertainment Industry experience between them, Matt and Kimmy Durham work together to make sure that your live event feels professional, unique, and memorable for all in attendance and on stage alike.

  • Lighting Designer

    Matt has a passion for storytelling through lights. He has spent the past few years touring with various country and CCM artists such as Chris Tomlin and Dustin Lynch as a lighting tech, and most recently, Brett Young as Lighting Director. If Matt isn’t sketching up a new set design or watching videos about the latest lighting fixtures, you can usually find him teaching his two young sons how to play video games.

  • Creative Director; Choreographer

    Kimmy has spent most of her life involved in music, dance, and theatre. Prior to meeting Matt and starting their family, Kimmy lived in Los Angeles, Ca where she worked as a director, choreographer, and stage manager at various theatres. She has always had a passion for raising the bar and pushing the limits of live entertainment. Today, most of her time is spent raising her two sons, Jackson (3) and Ty (2), but on a day away, you can find her hosting a game night for her closest friends.
